Volunteer at the ReStore

Volunteers don't get paid, not because they're worthless, but because they're priceless.
~Sherry Anderson

Join our ReStore staff for a morning or afternoon of helping customers, assisting our drivers as they drop off donations, organizing the ReStore sales floor and warehouse or helping with special events. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to work and be part of Habitat’s mission. To get started, please read our list of Volunteer Opportunities below to see where you feel most comfortable helping out.

Our ReStore is a successful source of funding for Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County because individuals continue to generously give their time, energy and motivation. We average about 450 hours per month in volunteer hours. Because of this we are able to keep our paid staff to a minimum and dedicate as much revenue as possible back into building more homes for people in need!

Volunteering with the ReStore is a great way to be a part of Habitat, and there are many different ways to get involved. Find one that suits you and fill out the ReStore Volunteer Application to get started.

*Volunteers at ReStore must be at least 14 years of age, parental consent required if under 18, and must be able to work unsupervised.

Our ReStore is open from Wednesday to Saturday 10am-5pm.

Volunteering can be a great way to build your resume. To review the specific duties and responsibilities that our volunteers can transfer to the work place see positions below. Volunteers take on a wide range of responsibilities and are vital to keep the ReStore operating as a successful retail outlet. The following volunteer positions are currently open. If you are interested in one, please complete and submit the Restore Volunteer Application
