WHAT IS AN IRA CHARITABLE ROLLOVER?

Individuals who are 70 ½ or older can make a direct distribution from their traditional IRA to an eligible charitable organization. The benefit of this is that the funds given can be excluded from their gross income.

Transfers must be made directly from a traditional IRA account by your IRA administrator to Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County. Talk to your financial adviser to learn more about this opportunity.

This is a wonderful way to give a meaningful gift and receive tax benefits in return!
