"Hitting Close to Home" Pickleball Tournament is a fun way to support Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County. This year, all proceeds will be dedicated to Habitat's Veteran's Build fund.
It is Habitat's belief that we are changing lives through the building of strength, stability, independence, and shelter.
Join us for a fun-filled evening of pickleball, where we are "Hitting Close to Home"!
Saturday, April 29, 2023, 7 - 10 PM, New Shrewsbury Racquet Club, Tinton Fall, NJ.
The tournament format:
- There will be the following levels based on USA Pickleball ratings:
- Advanced Men and Women (4.0+)
- Intermediate Level (3.5-3.9) Men and Women
- Intermediate Level (3.0-3.4) Men and Women
- Mixed Doubles Format - each person will be assigned a different partner for each game. Participants will play with each partner once and will play an average of 6-7 games through the evening. Pairing will be determined by the number of registrations received.
- Players must be 21 years of age or older.
Scoring will be recorded for each game and for each participant using MatchUp software.
Each game is 11 mins, no overtime. Regular scoring. First to 11, win by 2.
There will be Semi-Final and Final rounds, so cheer on your pickleball friends!
