Homeowners participate in Gardening Workshop in Long Branch

garden_1.jpgOn July 23, Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County partnered with Monmouth County Master Gardeners  on Green Thumb 101 – an introductory gardening workshop for Habitat partner families. It was hosted at the home of Sam and Mike Nolan, one of Habitat's newest homeowners,  in Long Branch. Each partner family learned basic gardening techniques through this hands-on workshop with with shrubs, plants, and mulch as well as a starter tool kit generously donated by Morganville Flower Farm in Manalapan.
